Weddings

We like to have at least one meeting to talk about what you want from us on your big day. In this meeting we will discuss what shots you would like - whether they are specific shots, certain poses, or any shots you think you would like to look back on after your big day.

We usually come to the church rehearsal and talk to the minister to arrange what we are permitted to do in the church. We also like to visit the venue so that we have an idea of what it’s like, and can come prepared.

On the day we don't like to take over, as it's your day with your friends and family.

Sometimes, to get the main group photos, or if the weather is bad, it helps to get the pictures completed quickly. We may have to dominate proceedings for a short time so that we can take the main shots - Best Man, Bridesmaids and Guests. This will just help to make it fast and painless. We like to proceed quite quickly, so we tend to take candid rather than posed shots. We always take a shot gun approach - take a few one will be perfect, and you get lots of variety of expressions which is nice. We prefer to take informal and candid shots - which helps to show all the events of the day which the bride and groom don’t see or forget.

Libby Mayor Photography like to remember that weddings are happy occasions. If we're having fun you and your guest are more likely to relax - and relaxed people means better photos! We also like to add a selection of black and white and sepia toned images into your collection of wedding photographs.
